Conditioning

There are 3 Conditioning classes per week. In these class’, we are aiming to build a bigger engine with a focus on building endurance across varying time domains. We focus on movements like running, rowing, using the ski-erg, bike, burpees, box jumps and skipping. This class involves no weights, it is purely a conditioning class.

We learn how to use the machines and understand how to track progress, like reading the watts and RPMs, or stroke rates and split times, drag factors and damper settings and what these all mean to maximise your performance. We will work on our paces, and learn what these are across short, medium, and longer time domains. Lastly, we will integrate mixed modality cardio workouts, using multiple cardiovascular movements or machines to create interference and new adaptations to your general fitness capacity.

If you struggle with, or hate cardio, this class might be just what you need!

All our class form part of a structured and phased program. They complement each other and are not separate programs to each other. Each class is part of the same block phase of training to ensure one class does not impact the goal of our overall programming intentions. This means that if you attend all class variations, you are in fact accessing our complete pro-level programming. However, the separation of class’s also means that members who have specific goals can also prioritise various classes over the others to meet their needs.
