Weightlifting
These classes offer thoughtfully designed progressions in the Olympic lifts including the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. The primary focus for this class is on improving your strength and technique in the Olympic lifts.
Our weightlifting classes are run twice weekly and is the only class that is separate to our HWPO programming.
Each member is provided a tailored approach and individualised program to complete in class. This is because we recognise that each person is at a different stage in their weightlifting journey and a 1-size fits-all approach is not optimal.
All our class form part of a structured and phased program. They complement each other and are not separate programs to each other. Each class is part of the same block phase of training to ensure one class does not impact the goal of our overall programming intentions. This means that if you attend all class variations, you are in fact accessing our complete pro-level programming. However, the separation of class’s also means that members who have specific goals can also prioritise various classes over the others to meet their needs.
